RIVER CONSERVATION DISTRICT USES
PERMITTED ON SPECIAL APPROVAL TEXT AMENDMENT
Notice is hereby given that the Riley Township Board has adopted a text amendment to Zoning
Ordinance 33, Article VI, Section 603 – RIVER CONSERVATION DISTRICT USES PERMITTED
ON SPECIAL APPROVAL at a regular meeting held on October 13 th , 2026. The
purpose of this zoning ordinance amendment is the addition of H: Contractors and Storage of
Commercial Vehicles and Equipment (Section 1138).
This Ordinance amendment shall take effect upon the expiration of seven (7) days after this
publication as required by law following adoption by the Township Board and shall remain in
effect herein. A true copy of the Ordinance is available at the Township office during regular
business hours at 13042 Belle River Rd., Riley MI 48041 or online at
