The 2026 version of Vacation Bible School at Trinity Missionary Church in Yale was another success, by all accounts.
Organizers said around 60 children were registered for each day of the three-day event. This year was the first for the new format of a three-day VBS, a change from the traditional five days.

This year’s event was just three days, capped by a special closing program and lunch for parents on Friday afternoon. The theme for the year was “Illumination Station” – Jesus Is The Light of the World. During the day, children had a group gathering for praise and worship, class time to study bible lessons, lunch was provided and as always, recreation was enjoyed by all.
The kids were also able to try their hands at arts and crafts. Over 40 volunteers took part in the VBS program.
