The Novel Page: “The Medici Manuscript” by C.J. Archer

This novel is the second book in “The Glass Library” series.

If my readers recall, I wasn’t sure how I felt about the first book. This one held my attention a little better, but it also helped me make up my mind: These books just aren’t for me.

The story follows Sylvia Ashe and Gabriel Glass through another mystery — this time involving a manuscript that may hold clues to Sylvia’s family history. It also incorporates a reveal into the talents of Gabriel and why they have been kept secret.

For readers who enjoy mysteries and spending more time with familiar characters, this series may be worth a look.

I recommend this edition as suitable for teenage and adult readers.
