Bologna Festival brings new, exciting events
The Yale Area Chamber of Commerce has been working to bring new excitement and events for the 2026 annual Yale Bologna Festival with hopes that both changing the weekend and adding things, everyone who comes will have a time to remember.
YALE — The Yale Area Chamber of Commerce has been working to bring new excitement and events for the 2026 annual Yale Bologna Festival with hopes that both changing the weekend and adding things, everyone who comes will have a time to remember.
This year, the festival will take place on Thursday-Sunday, July 30-Aug. 2 with Wade Shows Carnival coming to headline the event.
The carnival will kick off on Thursday and Wade Shows are bringing several top notch rides to showcase their midway including the BumbleBee, DodgeM, Everglades Adventure, Friendly Wheel, Groovy Bus, Mini Dumbos and the Sizzler.
The carnival and all rides will be at the former Woolen Mill parking lot across from Yale A&W and tickets can be purchased online before the festival at wadeshowsinc.com. If you purchase tickets online beforehand, they are $24 per person, per day valid for one day. After noon July 30, the tickets will be $34 per person, per day.
For the past 30 years, Wade Shows has been under the ownership and direction of Frank Zaitshik, who took the company from a small, Michigan-based show to a national organization with offices in both Michigan and Florida.
Friday night will look different as well, with the Outhouse Races being cancelled and instead, live wrestling coming to downtown. The free event will feature Kaos Wrestling, a live pro event featuring wrestlers like Thomas Baily, Benny Factor, Shotgun Jackson Stone, The Saint Brothers, Rae Larson, Stxrm Garcon, Machinegun Bishop and many more.
Kaos Wrestling is owned by Kenneth Stasiowski, an American former professional wrestler. He is best known for his stint with the WCW (World Championship Wrestling) where he performed under the ring name Kenny Kaos. He also wrestled as a part of the tag team High Voltage with Robbie Rage. During his time at the WCW he also became a one time World Tag Team Champion with Rick Steiner.
